How we research, write, review, and update everything on this site.
Simply Wealth Creation exists to help Indian retail investors make better-informed decisions with clear, honest, jargon-free information. This page explains how our content is created and the standards we hold it to.
Articles and tools on this site are written and maintained by Pankaj Paul, an independent writer and researcher focused on Indian personal finance. Content reflects independent analysis โ not sponsored placements, and not material supplied by any product provider.
We build on primary and official sources wherever possible โ the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the Income Tax Department, AMFI, and published regulatory and market data. Where we cite historical figures such as inflation, we use official indices (for example, CPI) and note when amounts are adjusted to present-day equivalents. We prefer original sources over second-hand summaries.
Figures, tax rates, and rules are checked against official sources at the time of writing. Our calculators use standard financial mathematics, and we state the key assumptions behind each one so you can judge whether they fit your situation. Estimates are clearly presented as estimates, not guarantees.
Tax rules, interest rates, and regulations change frequently โ often with each Union Budget. We update affected articles and tools when the underlying rules change. Personal finance is a fast-moving subject, so if you notice something out of date or incorrect, please tell us and we will review and correct it.
When we get something wrong, we fix it and update the page rather than quietly deleting it. Meaningful corrections to published articles are made transparently.
We do not accept payment to feature, recommend, rank, or review favourably any fund, product, or company. How the site is funded is set out on our Disclosure page, and it never influences what we write or how our tools calculate. Our loyalty is to the reader.
